What happens when tequila meets Kentucky bourbon wood: Lunazul Extra A\u00f1ejo spends 46 months resting in Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey barrels, a limited edition built on the meeting point of two spirits traditions. The long stay in wood pushes the oak forward, and the result reads dry rather than sweet, with almost no sugar showing on the palate.
The character sits well apart from a standard a\u00f1ejo, both in intensity and in shape. The finish runs long, holding on the tongue with a faint numbing sensation as it fades. Bottled at 750 ml and 40% ABV, it’s a small-batch release made for sipping and for drinkers who follow extended barrel aging closely.
