Description

The New Yorker is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Lucky Seven with a sweet twist. It has no age statement, but straight bourbon means at least four years in oak. It is then finished in toasted virgin Amburana casks, a South American wood.

The mash bill is 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley. It is bottled at full strength, 117.2 proof.

Nose the glass and you’ll think of oatmeal raisin cookies. Warm spice, vanilla and oak sit behind that. Cinnamon arrives first on the palate, joined by brown sugar, caramel and gingerbread. The finish is long and warming, with baking spice and oak.

It won Gold at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and Gold for bourbon at The Fifty Best 2025. Whiskey Advocate scored it 92 points, and it holds a Gold Ascot Award.

Sip it neat, or add a little water to open the spice. Pair it with aged cheese, grilled meats or chocolate. You’ll enjoy it if you like bold, dessert-like bourbon.
