A very ripe nose offers up aromas of roasted plum, cassis and spice. The medium- bodied flavors are not particularly dense (though neither are they dilute) while the lightly mineral-suffused finish is grippy, drying and a bit short. I fear the hail damage explains the raspy tannins.
