Description
A Bourbon Born From the Original 13 — The 1776 Edition
Created to honor the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026, Lost Lantern’s United States of Bourbon 1776 Edition is a rare and historic limited release. A spiritual counterpart to the flagship United States of Bourbon — the first-ever blend of straight bourbon whiskies from all 50 states — this special edition narrows its focus to the original 13 colonies: the states that united in 1776 to declare independence and forge a new nation.
Limited to just 1,776 bottles and never to be repeated, this is a once-in-a-generation whiskey that captures the spirit of American independence in every pour.
Tasting Notes
- Nose: Elegant and complex — rich caramel, dried stone fruit, toasted oak, and warm baking spice with a refined floral undertone
- Palate: Full-bodied and layered — dark cherry, brown sugar, rye spice, roasted grain, and a deep, historic complexity that unfolds with every sip
- Finish: Long, distinguished, and warming with lingering oak, vanilla, dark chocolate, and a gentle peppery heat
