Description
Loco Puro Corazón Blanco is made from 100% blue agave in El Arenal, Jalisco, Mexico, using only the heart of the distillation. It was named “Best Overall Tequila” by Robb Report. The liquid is crystal clear with diamond-like sparkles, bottled at 750 ml and 40% ABV (80 proof).
The nose opens with fresh mint and eucalyptus over herbaceous agave and cooked agave sweetness, with hints of honey, molasses and piloncillo. Green lemon and lemon blossom follow, closing on mineral notes of wet earth and fresh rain. The palate is light, silky and velvety, balancing natural agave sweetness with saline minerality, bright citrus and herbal freshness, leading to subtle spice and a medium finish.
Each bottle is hand-blown crystal and individually numbered, presented in an artisanal case designed by artist Jan Hendrix. It pairs with lighter fare such as fresh vegetables, seafood and citrus-based dishes that let the agave character come through.
