Description
Built entirely from Espadín agave, Lobos 1707 Artesanal is roasted in an open, wood-fired horno in Oaxaca and bottled unaged at 42% ABV. A rest in a PX sherry cask ties Spanish sherry practice to Mexican mezcal craft in a single 750 ml bottle.
The result is smoky and earthy, with roasted agave up front, citrus zest through the middle, and a trace of minerality and pepper closing it out. Its lively, piquant character suits sipping straight or mixing into cocktails.
