Boomerang 2023 is a beautifully light red crafted by Les Bottes Rouges in the Jura. This lively, energetic blend is made with Poulsard and Trousseau grapes.
We were blown away by it’s vibrancy and energy when we first tried it… and now it has had some time to develop in the bottle it offers even more pops of energy!
Herbal, cherry touches, vanilla, cooked apple and vibrant acidity with nice very well integrated soft VA that lifts it
Will be absolutely delicious on a warm summer afternoon!
How is Boomerang made?
For 2023 ,Boomerang is roughly 60% Trousseau and 40% Poulsard, grown on grey Lias marl. The grapes spend around four weeks macerating in stainless steel tanks, which gives it more depth than you would expect from a wine this light and bright, at about 12%.
