Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, La Leyenda Fine Sipping Mezcal Blanco skips the barrel entirely, going from still to bottle so the agave stays front and center. Without wood to shape it, the spirit keeps the brightness of a fresh distillate.
The palate runs through cooked agave and smoke, with citrus, herbal tones, a mineral streak and a touch of white pepper on the finish. Its fine sipping designation points to a mezcal built to be taken neat, where the distiller’s work and the raw character of the agave are easiest to read.
