Description
Le Départ En Vacances Blanc 2024 is a natural wine crafted by , in the Roussillon region in . This white wine is made with 75% and 25% grapes from vineyards around Espira-de-l’Agly and the foothills of the Catalan Corbières, on clay soils over a karstic plateau.
The grapes are hand-harvested in the morning in 11 kg crates, directly pressed, then fermented at low temperature to preserve the aromatics. The wine is aged in stainless steel and bottled in January, with 3 g/hl of sulphur added at bottling.
Mild herbs on the nose with this low acid white, with touches of butterscotch and thyme on the palate, and some white pepper tingles. A good wine for the price and especially for those seeking lower acidity.
