Description
Dora Bella 2023 by Alice Bouvot of Domaine de is a natural wine made in Jura with grapes, which is taken from her own Domaine in Arbois.
The vines are over 50 years old and located within La Mailloche and En Curon, a prestigious location to the north of Arbois with south-west facing vineyards. The soils are calcareous marl, limestone and sand. After hand harvesting the grapes, they are left to spontaneously ferment as whole bunches with 20 days skin maceration and then aged for 12 months in ex-Burgundy barrels.
We have not yet tried this vintage, but usually this wine from Alice is light, earthy, with herbal notes, exotic spices and forest fruit driven. EXCELLENT!
No added Sulphur, as with all of Alice Bouvot’s wines.
