Cariboom by Alice Bouvot of Domaine de is a natural red wine vinified in Jura with Grenache, , and sometimes , and grapes like here. These grapes are brought in from outside of Jura, so this is a Négoce wine made with both red and white grapes.
Expect a light, nicely fruity red with lots of berry shining bright alongside bright acidity and a somewhat Christmassy-spiced element going on here. The whole team loved it – excellent value!
Documentary on Domaine de l’Octavin
This was one of our earliest natural winemaker documentaries, shot mainly on iPhone. Visiting Alice Bouvot of Domaine de l’Octavin in Arbois, Jura again was a true pleasure. Alice is a gentle soul, thoughtful and somewhat spiritual. Couple this with her dedication to relentless hard work and pursuit of keeping her vineyards in the healthiest, happiest state and its no surprise Domaine de l’Octavin wines are highly sought after around the world.
