Green tea? On a liquor shelf? Kamoti Green Tea Shot is a bottled take on the bar favorite known as the green tea shot. The classic version mixes , peach schnapps, sour mix and a splash of soda. Kamoti does the mixing for you. You just chill, pour and serve.
It is a whiskey-based shooter at 20% ABV, about half the strength of a standard shot of spirits. The brand says it is naturally sweetened and gluten-free. It also skips high-fructose corn syrup and preservatives.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with peach and a light citrus tang. On the palate it is sweet and mouth-watering, with peach, a squeeze of lime and a hint of sour. The finish is crisp and a little tangy, so you’ll want another round.
Kamoti began with two friends, Dylan Fusco and Mike. They loved green tea shots at the Jersey Shore but hated the long waits at busy bars. So they set out to bottle the drink themselves. The idea took shape in 2019. National sales followed in late 2025.
Serve it ice-cold, straight from the fridge or freezer. Pour a round for friends, or top it with soda or tonic for a longer drink. Light snacks and fruit salads go well on the side. If you want an easy party shot that tastes like the bar version, this one is worth a try.
