Description
Kamiki Sakura Wood Cedar Cask takes an unusual route to maturation, resting Japanese whisky in sakura and cedar wood casks. The combination shapes the spirit in ways standard oak does not, drawing out floral cherry blossom character alongside the resinous, aromatic pull of cedar.
Bottled at 45% ABV in a 750 ml format, the whisky carries subtle fruit beneath the wood-driven aromatics and closes with a delicate finish. It reflects a deliberate, detail-focused approach to cask selection and a willingness to work outside conventional maturation practice.
