Description
Jura Superstition is a lightly peated single malt from the Isle of Jura. It blends young, heavily peated Jura with older, lighter-peated whisky. Some of the older parts are up to 21 years old.
The whisky matures in American oak ex-bourbon casks. On the nose, you’ll find honey, spice, pine, and gentle peat smoke.
The palate is sweet and malty, with honey, toffee, and a pinch of pepper. Soft smoke stays in the background. The warming finish brings honey, spice, and a touch of salt.
It has won Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and several Silvers at the International Wine & Spirit Competition. Sip it neat or over one large cube. New and seasoned whisky fans alike will enjoy it.
