Description
Jura Brooklyn is an island single malt shaped by New Yorkers. In 2013, Jura asked 12 Brooklyn artisans to help choose it from six cask samples.
The whisky is aged up to 16 years in bourbon, Amoroso sherry and Pinot Noir casks. It is bottled at 42% ABV.
You will find berries, blackcurrant and fig on the nose. Roasted coffee beans and honey fill the palate, with a little citrus. The finish runs long, with fruit, ginger, oak and a wisp of bonfire smoke.
Sip it neat or with a drop of water. Try it with smoked brisket, aged cheddar or dark chocolate.
