Description
Joseph Magnus Murray Hill Bourbon is a bourbon blend built with the same techniques Joseph Magnus used for the original pre-Prohibition spirit more than 100 years ago. It marries 18-year-old and 11-year-old bourbon with 9-year-old light whiskey, bottled at 51.5% alcohol by volume (103 proof) in a 750 ml bottle.
The aroma is rich with caramel and vanilla, layered with oak and toasted nuts. On the palate, butterscotch, honey and toffee meet autumnal baking spices, vanilla and char, with toasty, buttery depth and a smooth, lingering sweetness.
A hint of black pepper carries through the close, alongside layers of spiced dried fruits, finishing softly spiced and toasted.
