Description
Drawn from the handwritten blending notes of Johnnie Walker Master Blender Sir Alexander Walker II, this 21-year-old blended Scotch whisky opens with spiced apple, smoky oak and toasted brioche. Orange and lemon peel follow on the palate, closing with a long, layered finish built for slow sipping.
The blend comes together through an unusually rare three-stage blending method, which gives the whisky its mellow character and a warming smoke on the finish. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, it draws on fully matured whiskies for a smooth, complex result.
