Johnnie Walker Blue Label Elusive Umami is a limited-edition blended Scotch whisky created through a collaboration between Master Blender Emma Walker and Michelin-starred chef Kei Kobayashi. The expression explores umami—the mysterious fifth taste—through a carefully balanced combination of sweet and savory flavors. Only one out of every 25,000 casks was selected for this exceptional blend. The aroma presents blood orange, red berries, and sweet wood spice. Its palate combines caramelized miso, grilled pineapple, rich cacao, and blackberry tannins. A cleansing mineral salinity leads into a long, sweet, and fruity finish.
