John Emerald Alabama Single Malt Whiskey
A single malt whiskey made in the American Single Malt style. Also the first whiskey to be legally made in Alabama in 100 years.
Made with 100% malted barley and smoked with peach and pecan wood, this whiskey drinks sweet and smooth. A true Alabama whiskey experience.
John Emerald Distilling is a small batch craft distillery located in beautiful downtown Opelika, Alabama. We offer tours, cocktails, and bottle sales in house as well as distribute our spirits throughout Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, Florida, New York, California, Colorado, and Illinois.
We are proud of our heritage. From the original three Sharp brothers who ventured to America from Scotland to the namesake of our company, John Emerald Sharp, the Sharps have lived lives of integrity: honoring God, their fellow man and their family. So when it came time to name our distillery, the idea to honor our forefathers in name and spirit rang true.
