Costal is a natural wine crafted by , in the Languedoc region in . This red wine is made with grapes. Joe Chandellier farms 13 hectares around Souvignargues in the Gard, bottling under the IGP Cevennes. He made his first solo vintage in 2019
Costal is pure Grenache from old vines on sand. It is a blend of the 2023 and 2024 vintages: the 2023 spent 20 months in barrel, the 2024 10 months in concrete. It sits at 13.5% alcohol. This beautiful wine is incredible value! It’s smooth, rounded and energetic all at once with scrumptious red berries and touches of spice.
