Description
After its time in bourbon oak, this Jefferson’s Reserve single barrel moves into casks that once held Pritchard Hill Cabernet. Bottled at 45.1% ABV in a 750 ml format, it carries the caramel core of the base bourbon alongside the red wine character picked up during the second maturation.
Because each barrel is bottled on its own, the cabernet influence shows up differently from one release to the next. The result is a layered pour with wine notes woven through the oak and a complex finish.
