Description
Jean-Pierre Robinot farms a handful of old vineyards in the Loire Valley, on a mosaic of clay, limestone, flint and tuffeau. This quiet corner of the Loire is cooler and wilder than its more famous neighbours, producing wines of tension, energy and unmistakable mineral character.
Beneath the vines lies a network of ancient limestone caves where Robinot ages his wines slowly and patiently. Fermentations can stretch on for months, sometimes years, guided only by the rhythm of the cellar.
Les Années Folles 2023 is a sparkling natural wine made with and Chenin Blanc grapes.
A Rosé Pet Nat from a Loire Legend! Here the elegant bubbles take you to a happy place. This is relatively low in alcohol, at 10%. Notes of rose, wild strawberries, lemon and white pepper (very typical of Pineau D’Aunis). This is a banger of a wine!
