Description
Jameson Black Barrel is a triple-distilled Irish whiskey made as a tribute to the coopers who build and char its casks. Maturation in double-charred barrels gives the whiskey a distinct richness that sets it apart from the standard expression.
The aroma leans toward butterscotch, fudge and creamy toffee. On the palate it is subtly sweet, with intensified vanilla and caramel alongside toasted wood, fruit, nuts and warm spice, closing with a rich toasted wood and vanilla finish.
Bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 1 L bottle.
