Description
(from young vines in Clos de la Maréchale; the last time this was declared was in 2008). A completely different aromatic profile that is notably riper yet still nicely fresh displays a variety of red berry aromas laced with earth and a hint of humus. There is both good energy and detail to the agreeably textured flavors that exude a very subtle bead of minerality on the refreshing and inviting finale. While this should be capable of repaying mid-term keeping, it should also be approachable young if you don’t feel like waiting.
