Bottled at 100 proof, Jack Daniel’s Bonded Tennessee Whiskey pours a dark mahogany and drinks big and bold. Dark brown sugar and cooked fruit lead the way, followed by seared oak, warm baking spice and a trace of smoke that lingers on the finish. This 1 L bottle carries 50% ABV.
The Bottled-in-Bond designation means the whiskey was made by a single distiller in one distillation season, aged a minimum of four years in a government-bonded warehouse, and bottled at 100 proof. Barrels are chosen by hand for depth of color, flavor and aroma, giving the whiskey its darker, richer, more oak-forward profile. It works over ice or stirred into cocktails and mixed drinks such as a Boulevardier.
