Description
Jack Daniel’s Master Distiller No. 4 is the fourth bottling in the Master Distiller Series. Only seven men have overseen whiskey-making at Jack Daniel’s. This release honors Jess Gamble, Master Distiller from 1964 to 1966.
He was the first head distiller from outside the family. He kept the whiskey made and mellowed in Mr. Jack’s way. It is bottled at 43% ABV.
The nose is light and sweet, with nuts, dry spice and a touch of smoke. The palate is soft and smooth, with banana, mixed nuts and caramel. The finish is sweet, with toasty oak and dry spice.
Sip it neat or on the rocks. Collectors of the series will want it on the shelf.
