Twelve years in the barrel shape this American whiskey from Hooten Young, bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 ml format. The long maturation shows up in the glass through caramel and vanilla, with toasted grain and wood spice filling out the middle. Released as Batch 01, this whiskey reflects a selective approach to blending, with each batch defined on its own terms. Oak stays balanced rather than dominant, leaving the extended aging to add depth without overwhelming the spirit.
