Description
High West Cask Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Finish Bourbon is a limited-release whiskey that showcases the distillery’s innovative approach to cask finishing. Mature bourbon is transferred into carefully selected Cabernet Sauvignon wine barrels, adding depth and complexity while preserving the rich character of the original whiskey. The result is a balanced expression that bridges classic bourbon flavors with refined wine barrel influence.
Layers of ripe dark fruit, toasted oak, vanilla, and warm baking spices create a rich yet approachable profile. The Cabernet finish contributes subtle tannins and a velvety texture, making this bourbon an excellent choice for sipping neat, enjoying over a large ice cube, or pairing with grilled meats, aged cheeses, and dark chocolate desserts.
