Drawn from a single cask, Stiefel’s High Rye comes from a rye-heavy mash bill that spent four years in hand-picked oak at Heritage Distilling Co in Washington. Bottled at 47% ABV in a 750 ml format, each barrel carries its own imprint rather than a blended house profile.
The pour leads with peppery rye spice, followed by vanilla sweetness and layered oak. Black pepper carries through the middle, closing on a warm finish that reflects the bold, regionally rooted style of modern American craft whiskey.
