Description
Heaven Hill Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash is a first for the Bardstown distillery: two of its bourbon mash bills, each aged nine years, married into a single Bottled-in-Bond release. Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll blended two-thirds of Heaven Hill’s traditional bourbon recipe (78% corn, 10% rye, 12% malted barley) with one-third of its wheated bourbon recipe (68% corn, 20% wheat, 12% malted barley), pairing the spice and structure of the rye recipe with the soft, rounded sweetness of the wheater.
Bottled at 100 proof under the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, it is bright and rich, with honey, citrus oil, caramel and toasted oak over a gentle baking-spice backbone. A limited-release expression for collectors and everyday bourbon drinkers alike.
