Hangar 1 Buddha’s Hand Citron Vodka is a California vodka bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof) in a 750 ml bottle. Hangar 1 works with specialist growers to source fruit at the peak of ripeness, and Buddha’s Hand Citron — an ancient relative of the modern lemon — carries a lower acidity that lets its more complex flavors and aromas come through.
The vodka pours pure and crystal clear. The aroma leads with lemon peel, grapefruit and citrus pith, followed by lemon balm and a hint of ginger. The palate is sweet and juicy up front, with notes of jasmine, basil and apricot, closing on a light ginger, lemon and grassy finish.
