There are touches of reduction and menthol sitting atop the exotic white and yellow fruit scents that are trimmed in a discreet application of oak. Like several of the wines in the range, on the palate this is concentrated, powerful and muscular with excellent size and weight to the big-bodied flavors that deliver fine depth and persistence. This is also quite precise and while it’s no model of finesse, it certainly is imposing. Patience required. 92/2022+
