The wood treatment here is more completely integrated though by no means invisible on the kirsch, plum, anise and clove suffused nose. The rich and very generous medium-bodied flavors are seductively textured and quite sappy as they coat the palate on the naturally sweet and reasonably persistent finish where a bit of toast resurfaces. This is really quite good but it will better suit those who enjoy some evident wood. 91/2017+
