Description
Grey Goose Le Citron is a flavored vodka built around lemons, including fruit grown in the Menton region of France. Menton lemons are larger and thicker skinned than their western counterparts, with a milder, less acidic flavor. Their thicker peels hold higher levels of essential oil, which has made them a favorite of respected French chefs.
Cellar Master François Thibault concentrates the fruit into a complex citrus oil extract to preserve its bright character, then blends it with Grey Goose vodka. Spring water from Gensac-la-Pallue, naturally filtered through limestone, is added for smoothness.
The taste is clean, fresh and bright, with a distinct citrus personality from the Menton lemon oils and a long, satisfying finish. Bottled at 375 ml, 40% ABV.
