Description
Bottled at 50% ABV in a 750 ml format, Grander Rye Whiskey Barrel Finished takes a secondary barrel stage after its initial rye maturation. That extra finishing period layers in nuance you won’t find in a straightforward rye, shaping a whiskey that keeps its peppery backbone while picking up rounder, sweeter edges from the wood.
The profile leads with rye spice and clear oak influence, followed by black pepper bite and caramel notes that carry into a complex finish. Holding the whiskey at full proof keeps those barrel-finishing details in focus rather than diluting them, so the traditional rye character and the modern finishing work both stay legible in the glass.
