Description
Gran Coramino grows and harvests blue agave in the heart of the Tequila Valley, waiting until each plant reaches peak maturity before it is cooked in traditional brick ovens. Distillation happens in copper pot stills, following a centuries-old process carried out by hand at every stage.
The tequila rests in French and American oak barrels, then is blended with an A\u00f1ejo matured in ex-cognac casks. The result is a silky 750 ml bottling at 40% ABV, showing deep amber with copper hues, aromas of cooked agave, butterscotch and cinnamon, and flavors of rich oak, nuts, toasted cacao and coffee beans, with vanilla and chocolate woven through a long, sweet, oak-laced finish.
