Description
Drawn from Scapa Distillery and bottled at cask strength by Gordon & MacPhail, this 1990 vintage comes from the Connoisseurs Choice range. The label records the vintage, cask, strength and character in full, reflecting the series’ approach to provenance and transparency. Bottled at 57.2% ABV in a 750 ml format.
Fruitcake and lemon zest open the nose, followed by roasted hazelnut, cinnamon spice, raisin and vanilla fudge. The palate runs warm with black pepper, dark chocolate, black treacle and stewed fruit, with dried tobacco and toasted oak in support, before a smooth, creamy finish carrying black cherry.
