Bottled at 46% ABV in a 750 ml format, Principium is Golden Moon’s take on single malt whiskey made in Colorado. The distillery’s approach draws on malt-forward brewing and careful distillation, giving the whiskey a grain-driven backbone rather than a heavily wood-shaped one. The pour leads with malt sweetness and toasted grain, followed by light floral notes and a restrained touch of oak. It closes clean, keeping the malt character in focus from first sip through the finish.
