Description
Glenmorangie 25 Years Old, called The Altus, is the top of the distillery’s range. This Highland single malt is bottled at 43% ABV.
Most of it ages in slow-grown bourbon casks. A portion is finished in Malmsey Madeira casks before the two are married.
You meet carnation, orange blossom and honey, then peach and nutty toffee. Your palate gets mandarin, pear and tart gooseberry, with marzipan and banana. The finish is long and gently sweet.
Sip it neat, maybe with a drop of water. Save it for a milestone you want to remember.
