From Scotland’s Lowland region, Glenkinchie 12 Year is a single malt Scotch bottled at 43% ABV in a 750 ml bottle. Twelve years in cask give the whisky a rounded, mature side without covering up the light, elegant house style the distillery is known for.
The glass leans toward light malt and floral notes, with subtle fruit, gentle oak and a smooth finish. It’s a restrained, refined style of Scotch that works for drinkers new to single malt as well as those who already know their way around a dram.
