Description
Twenty-one years in oak at Glen Moray’s Speyside distillery set the foundation for this Elgin Heritage release, which is then transferred to port pipes for its final stretch of maturation. Bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 750 ml bottle, it carries the orchard-fruit clarity typical of the region alongside the deeper sweetness the port casks contribute.
The palate leans on dried fruit and berries, with port wine influence running through vanilla, smooth oak and a trace of spice. It is a single malt Scotch built for slow sipping, where the long maturation and cask finish read clearly in the glass.
