The Serra 2019 Barolo from Giovanni Rosso is a compelling and terroir-driven expression of Nebbiolo from Serralunga d’Alba, one of the most revered communes within Barolo. Known for its distinctive white, chalky soils, Serralunga produces wines of remarkable structure, longevity, and mineral depth.
Rooted in over a century of family tradition, the Rosso estate has cultivated a deep connection to this land. Under the guidance of Davide Rosso, the winery has embraced organic farming practices since 2006, focusing on purity and sustainability. The Serra 2019 is crafted exclusively from Nebbiolo, fermented in concrete tanks with extended maceration, then aged for approximately 18 months in large French oak foudres.
