Description
Built from a mash of 95% rye and 5% malted barley, George Dickel Rye Whisky carries a spicy core with quiet fruit underneath. Fruit, clove and cinnamon come through on the palate, trailing into a long, smooth finish that gives the whisky both range and character at 90 proof (45% ABV).
Before bottling, the whisky is chilled and put through charcoal-mellow filtration, a step that shapes its particular profile. The result works on its own or stirred into cocktails, and it suits a Dickel Highball well. Supplied as a single 1.75 L bottle.
