Description
Gentleman’s Cut Player Exclusive: Shacho is an 11-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottled at 105 proof (52.5% ABV) in a 750 ml format. The release is limited to 850 bottles.
After maturation, the whiskey is finished in rare Japanese Mizunara new oak barrels sourced from the Hokkaido prefecture. The mashbill is 78% corn, 13% rye and 9% malted barley.
The name comes from the Japanese term SHACHO (shaw-tcho), a revered word meaning “leader” — a nod to vision and humility, and to the milestones reached by those who lead in their own way.
