Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750 ml format, General Gorostieta Joven puts blue agave front and center. As a joven, it goes largely without barrel treatment, though the category allows a small proportion of aged tequila to be blended in for balance. The result is a clear, straightforward pour carrying agave sweetness and citrus zest, with a touch of pepper and a fresh finish. Its bright profile suits margaritas and other mixed drinks.
