Description
Fuyu Japanese Blended Mizunara Finish Whisky is a 700 ml blend bottled at 45% ABV. The core whisky is finished in mizunara oak, a cask type that lends exotic wood character and aromatic depth.
The finish layers incense, sandalwood and subtle spice over the blend, with a woody thread running through the aroma and palate. The higher proof carries those notes clearly.
A bottling aimed at adventurous whisky drinkers, and an example of the distillery’s work with innovative maturation techniques.
