Description
Fortuna Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey carries forward a name first put on a label by German immigrant Phil Hollenbach in Louisville during the late 1800s. The revived bottling follows a traditional rye bourbon recipe, aged a minimum of six years and hand-selected barrel by barrel before it goes into the 750 ml bottle.
At 102 proof, or 51% ABV, the whiskey is warm and layered, with oak, spice and dried fruit running through the palate and a smooth finish that holds on. It’s a Kentucky straight bourbon built on more than a century of distilling practice in the state.
