Description
Fortaleza Winter Blend 2025 Reposado is a limited annual release from Destilería La Fortaleza in Tequila, Jalisco, bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV) in a 750 ml bottle.
It starts as a reposado rested five months in ex-American whiskey barrels, then moves into uncommon casks that previously held Madeira and Passito di Caluso Italian wine. The finishing gives it a layered profile, with fruit-forward sweetness set against mineral depth and a subtle wine influence.
The palate shows vegetal, citrus and warm spice notes that gradually open into tart tamarind and sour cherry. It rewards slow sipping as the character evolves, and its scarcity and traditional production make it one for collectors and seasoned tequila drinkers.
