Description
Fifteen years in bourbon casks at the foot of an active volcano give this 40% ABV rum its depth, built through slow natural maturation with no additives. The nose leads with sweet molasses and vanilla, followed by tropical fruit and a touch of spice, and the palate stays smooth and rounded. It comes from a family estate founded in 1890, now guided by five generations of distilling knowledge.
Sustainability runs through the whole 750 ml package. Distillation is powered entirely by renewable energy, the label is made from natural bagasse fiber, the bottle from recycled glass, and the case from FSC-certified materials. The rum carries both Carbon Neutral and Fair Trade certification, pairing serious aging with a lighter environmental footprint.
