Description
Bottled without time in wood, Fine Blanche Chateau Arton pours clear and shows Armagnac in its most direct form. Straight off the still, the grape spirit leads with orchard fruit, white flowers and a green, herbaceous edge, held together at 45% ABV in a 750 ml bottle.
The style is rustic rather than polished, reflecting the brandy-making traditions of southwestern France. What reaches the glass is the raw material and the distillation itself, with none of the softening that barrel time would bring.
